Okay, here we go; here are the basics you need for your website. To start with you need a domain name (e.g. www.yourname.com) and hosting (where your website actually lives).
Next, you'll need some content - that's copy or text for the pages and images or photos. You might also want to consider some video or animation.
Your Content Management System (CMS) will enable you to edit your own website as your business changes. And if you want to sell things, you'll need an eCommerce platform.
Finally a website without visitors is not a good idea - so please budget for search marketing and/or eMail marketing.
