Content Management System
A Content Management Systems (aka CMS) enables you to edit the text, images and products listed on your website. This means you have control of the website and can change it without having to spend large amounts of money with your web company.
In other words, you need a content management system. But which one? At RealityHouse we offer three options.
Adobe Contribute for Small Websites
This is a standard off-the-shelf package that we can integrate into small websites. You can also use it with our start-up websites. It's cheap, cheerful and comparatively powerful. But it doesn't do everything...
RealityHouse CMS for Medium Websites
If your website is larger then 10 or 15 pages, then we recommend the RealityHouse Content Management System. It uses industry-standard technlogies to create highly flexible and easy to edit websites. It also offers eCommerce and extranet facilities and is ideal for sites of up to 10,000 pages.
Corporate CMS Systems
We love the RealityHouse CMS but if you're a large corporate then you'll need (and will probably already have) a very expensive Content Management System. We already work with a number of these systems including Stellent and our particular favourite Easysite from eibs.
