Herman Miller Easi – desktop application

The Brief

Herman Miller has a vast range of rich media material (animations, videos, 3D renderings) or their products that they wanted to encourage dealers to use. To this end they wanted a rich media platform that could be loaded onto a PC (or Mac) that would hold all the latest Herman Miller data and imagery and that could be used for presentations.

The Project

realityhouse planned an updateable system that would be loaded onto a PC and that featured all the key Herman Miller Media. It’s design took its lead from iPhone navigation – using screens and layers to navigate to give a contemporary feel to a PC based system.

The Result

An offline product that is constantly updated by XML feeds from the Herman Miller website when online. This means that the system can be used offline when presenting to clients – showing features, benefits and a vast array of impressive rich media.
