Email on Mobiles

How many times do you open your email on an iPhone, Android, Blackberry or other mobile device? According to Knotice, 27% of emails were opened on a mobile in 2011 and the trend is growing.

Unfortunately this adds further complexity to coding emails and here are Chrissie’s 6 top tips on “how to create email campaigns in a mobile world.”

Images in Email

One of the major benefits of marketing emails is the ability to include images but according to a study by Merkle in 2009 only 48% of email recipients automatically see images in their emails. However by careful planning you can improve on this number and encourage people to download your images.

Here are Chrissie’s 6 top tips on “how to use images wisely in HTML emails.”

And remember social media

When you send your email – it’s an ideal opportunity to connect with the recipient on social media – LinkedIn, Twitter, Google+ or Facebook, so don’t forget to add the relevant icons onto your email.
